Universities Research Association (URA) is a consortium of universities in North America, Europe, and Japan that manages and operates two renowned research facilities—Fermilab and the Pierre Auger Observatory. URA tapped TDC to design a more appealing and useful website from the ground up in order to enhance member engagement and provide greater administrative support to programs and board processes.
We created an up-to-date and captivating look and feel for the new website through greater use of photos and graphic elements, more vibrant colors, and more intuitive navigation and content organization. In addition, we developed interactive modules within the website to facilitate the application process for URA’s Fermilab Visiting Scholars program; an intranet site that enabled members and trustees to securely access sensitive content; an interactive membership map; as well as a more contemporary URA logo.
