United Way Looks to The Design Channel for New Program Support

TDC tapped to provide wide range of marketing and communications assets for Do More 360 program

Washington, DC, April 8, 2016—David Franek, president of The Design Channel (TDC), announced today that United Way of the National Capital Area (UWNCA) has enlisted the creative firm to develop a full suite of branded marketing communications for its new Do More 360 program. The program is aimed at changing entrenched perceptions of the United Way as a seasonal giving program and encouraging a new generation of people in workplace environments to support charitable organizations year-round.

“United Way has long been recognized as a force in helping communities and individuals,” said Franek. “We think Do More 360 is a great opportunity for UWNCA to broaden its impact and appeal in this area. We’re thrilled to be involved in creating a brand platform and communications pieces for Do More 360 that will encourage audiences to engage in giving, volunteering, and mentoring more often than ever.”

The work for Do More 360 will include a campaign theme logo, brand look and feel, several marketing brochures, a membership guide, and various collateral pieces including an annual report. These will be utilized in outreach to workplace environments in federal government agencies, civilian and local government organizations, nonprofit organizations, as well as private companies.
