Osteopathy Association and TDC Team up to Strengthen Student Recruitment

AACOM taps The Design Channel to help the association build interest in osteopathy careers

Washington, DC, July 22, 2015—It was announced today by David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel, that the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), has enlisted the design firm to develop and enhance collateral and recruiting materials aimed at students considering a future in osteopathic medicine.

“We’re looking forward to working with AAACOM to create tools that help prospective medical students advance their understanding of becoming a D.O. as a potential career path,” said Franek. “We’ve enjoyed working with the association in the past and are excited about the work ahead.” Previously, TDC developed a brand identity for AACOM’s annual conference as well as programs for the event.

The new materials will help expand understanding of not only the osteopathy profession but also the osteopathic medical school application process and available programs across the country. While the full scope of the project is still being determined, a series of brochures, information sheets, and recruitment displays to be used by at career fairs will be included in the initial phase.
