Morehouse School of Medicine Enlists TDC for Capital Campaign Branding

Renowned medical institution seeks high-impact appeal for comprehensive campaign

Washington, DC, February 20, 2019—David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel, announced today that Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) in Atlanta, Georgia, has engaged The Design Channel (TDC) to develop a suite of communications materials designed to help raise funds for the advancement of key programs and facilities.

“Morehouse School of Medicine is an indispensable resource for bringing greater health equity to our society,” said Franek. “It has an ambitious plan to strengthen its expertise and leadership in strategic channels in the years ahead, and it is an honor for us to be part of the MSM team working to help make these initiatives a reality.” TDC will be creating materials to support a comprehensive campaign aimed at growing MSM’s capabilities in five strategic areas: research, medical education, health career pipeline programs, community engagement, and clinical innovations

The scope of work will include a campaign-exclusive design look-and-feel, a brand theme, a multi-purpose campaign portfolio, a campaign overview brochure, a high-value brochure focused on the Hank and Yvonne Thomas Center (a new addition to the National Center for Primary Care at MSM), and five case statement brochures that each highlight one of the above-mentioned strategic areas. A brief discovery phase involving discussions with MSM senior officers and Dr. Valerie Montgomery-Rice, president and dean of MSM, will take place prior to development of the materials to gain additional insights for content and visual presentations.

This assignment will run through the end of May this year.
