Consumer Healthcare Products Association Taps TDC for New Project Venture

Association seeks to launch initial Dietary Supplement Index Reports

Washington, DC, March 1, 2022—David Franek, TDC president and chief creative officer, has announced that the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) has enlisted TDC to design a new suite of reports for the organization. TDC will be creating the visual presentation of CHPA’s inaugural Dietary Supplement Index Reports, which will provide valuable reference information on vitamins, minerals, herbs, enzymes, and other non-prescription specialty foods and medicines to consumers, insurers, healthcare providers, and legislators.

Franek said, “This is an especially exciting assignment for TDC. We’re thrilled that CHPA has entrusted us to help create a new and valuable tool that will enable a wide range of audiences to better understand the usage and value of the growing number of dietary supplements that are available today.”

The Index Reports will provide insights into a wide range of factors surrounding the current dietary supplement marketplace, including insurance coverage, supplement category spending trends, geographic growth markets, and other dynamics. Ultimately, the Index Reports, will provide a platform for increased awareness and use of dietary supplements that will encourage:

  • Health insurers, large employers, and benefits consultants to include dietary supplements in benefits plans.
  • Primary care providers to recommend dietary supplements to patients.
  • Policymakers to recognize dietary supplements as a viable strategy for mitigating nutrition deficiencies.
  • Favorable news coverage about the safety and benefit of dietary supplements in context of today’s compelling trends (self-care, affordability, food security, etc.).
