American College of Radiology Turns to TDC for Accreditation Campaign

Association looks to strengthen its accreditation program

Washington, DC, July 10, 2015—David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel, announced that the American College of Radiology (ACR) has tapped TDC to develop a new campaign aimed at improving patient safety and quality through its imaging accreditation program.

“We’re pleased to continue our relationship with ACR and look forward to helping the organization bolster its efforts in reminding radiology facilities and departments across the country why it’s the top radiological accrediting body today,” said Franek. “ACR has been the leader radiological technology accreditation for 30 years and one of the reasons for that is its ability to adapt to the needs of the marketplace.”

Additionally, ACR has recently instituted more efficient procedures in its accreditation process and is looking to highlight these features in a campaign with print and digital advertising. These include a more streamlined, 100% online application and image submission process; reduced approval cycle times; and expert technical assistance.
