National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative

The National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) was founded in 1986 with the belief that rural residents should have the same technology and telecommunications as their urban counterparts. Today, NRTC membership consists of over 1,400 organizations made up of electric cooperatives, telephone cooperatives, telephone companies, associates and affiliates. Their marketing and communications material were all over the board, lacking consistency of their logo and use of sub-brands, no hierarchy or system for levels of publications.

The Design Channel was hired to help devise an approach for rebranding the organization, particularly developing a system for their many publications and collateral material. After exploring five different approaches for the rebranding, the client approved one approach and we have continued to design templates for various pieces within their collateral hierarchy.
