Recently AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) invited David and other design professionals around the country who submitted self-portraits for a published collection almost 25 years ago to create a new self-portrait for a second edition. Here’s David’s new take on himself—comprised of numerous misspellings of his name that he’s gathered from envelopes, packages, letters, and labels over the years.
